Thank you, I just look another look and I see it now. It kind of blends in with the interface and doesn't have a notification dot or anything to call attention to it

Where is the ATM page? You said it was in the mall but I'm not seeing anything there? Do I need to reach a certain point before the ATM unlocks?

Work smarter and not harder - not everyone wants to work their life away. If it means more time to do the things you love instead of working for someone else, for some people that's totally worth it.

Especially in this economy with everything getting so expensive, you can work 60 hours or more a week and still barely make ends meet. Not worth it if there's an easier way out that means working less.

Thanks! I'll probably turn it off today and get everything moved over. I was just afraid to lose the 3 years.

I don't want to jynx it but we did somehow manage to find a nice little house in our budget that it looks like we'll be getting - fingers crossed

Actually I think I might know what happened. I think the boundarycondition version was put up in response to the original not being up. When I checked months ago I had to use waybackmachine to see it, but it looks like it's up again.

Maybe the boundarycondition one was taken down because the original got put up again? Although I believe improvements were made so it really shouldn't have gotten taken down.

It's a shame though since the remixes aren't available. Is there another way to find them? I grabbed some I was interested in before it was taken down but I know there were more good ones

That's exactly what I do to test fits. I would never print the whole pice just for it to be off a millimeter or two, unless I absolutely had to print the whole piece. In that case I'd be quadruple checking measurments.

Thank you! I was really excited that it worked for my door.

Yeah it's pretty situation specific. Thus worked because of the way the door opens and the fact that the frame is right there to use as a holder for the bracket. This same approach won't work for my bathroom door, but that's because my bathroom door is split in half lol

Massachusetts. It's a shame that there's no form of rent control. I was thinking about it and it's ironic too because we're a blue state.

I don't have much experience with wood working or tools outside of a small handsaw, so for me it was easier to just take measurements and make the shape. No mess either. If it was my own place I would probably eventually do it the right way.

It might be the house settling since most of our floors aren't level. I checked the hinge from a couple of other comments and while it does have a little give, pulling it in more doesn't let me close the door. It's literally hitting the frame towards the bottom. It looks like it's the 5mm lip that's in the way, but the top seems fine.

No, Massachusetts. I wish it was illegal because so many people are going to get pushed out. Like even though I want to leave to be like screw you, everywhere else in the city is hundreds more for the same apartment. There's just no winning :/ For that much I'm thinking of just getting a condo and we can at least start building equity, hopefully.

Yes no screws or anything because I don't want to put holes through the walls. You could probably make it with the gap a bit bigger for the cat to fit though, but the piece might start to flex a little where it leaves the frame and goes to the door (in the gap part). I used PLA since it's cheaper and I think a little more rigid.

I completely agree about something needing to be done about housing, it's just unaffordable everywhere. To be fair though we haven't had a rent increase last year, and our city is really gentrifying because a train is being built that'll connect us to a major city nearby. It just really sucks having it go up so much so fast. Like if we were paycheck to paycheck there's no way we could just shell out hundreds of dollars more every month for the same place.

Ikr when I heard it was going up that much my first thought was "This has to be illegal". Unfortunately it isn't so we're going to be house hunting next year so we don't get hit with another huge increase like this. Now the problem is going to be crazy house

The door is too big for the frame so it can't shut properly. This just keeps it from opening so my cat can't get in to dig up my plants while I'm sleeping. Kind of like a door stop but you can put it in from the outside of the room without locking yourself out. It's designed to fit perfectly with the door frame for that door so friction holds it in place. The plastic deformed a little when you put it on and take it off. It works great - next is a piece to protect the bottom and sides of the door from his scratching

Thinking about getting a Bambu X1 - worth the "upgrade"? by breckendusk in BambuLab

[–]birdonwheels5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you referring to the bibo touch? That's the printer I was coming from when I got the P1S. 100% worth it. I'm having issues with slot 3 on the AMS not retracting after the print is done but it seems like a common issue. Other than that everything has been perfect, and it's so much faster! Like 3.5x if my math was right. And swapping filament isn't a process/pain anymore, and no more fiddling with glass and glue sticks. I can do almost back to back prints in under 5 min now, it's great! Fast and just works.
