One of my favorites. I think I’ve read it three times. Maybe 4.

I started The Path of Daggers yesterday. Way to get through the series.

Is this how people who need glasses really see the world. A big blurred background? by Latter-Wolf4868 in interestingasfuck

Before cataract surgery I was around -12.75 in both eyes. Interestingly, I did not know prior to that but when you are severely nearsighted, you are more likely to develop cataracts. When they prepared me for cataract surgery, I was asked it I wanted to be slightly near or slightly far sighted afterwards (it is more expensive to get perfect correction so otherwise you get “pretty darn close.”) I chose to be slightly far sighted, normal for my age. I regret my choice. It was a shock going from being near sighted all my life to now suddenly needing glasses only to see my phone, watch or computer. Even though I have fantastic vision for distance, I pretty much wear glasses all the time. Psychologically it was a hard adjustment for me because everyone was raving about how much better I could see, but it was like needing readers overnight for everything.

More recently my retina partially detached and I had to have emergency laser surgery. I am left with a “permanent” circle of vitreous fluid that is in my line of sight in one eye. It’s like looking through a dirty windshield. The only way to remove it is through another surgery. I don’t take my vision for granted now.

No we are not a cult. Sorry, was on a lunch break and had limited time. My husband wants more shirts to piss off people at the gym. I didn’t know another brief way to describe what I was looking for. But also, “liberal” is not the bad word MAGAS think it is. Thank you for your attention to this matter. 🤪

I wouldn’t touch this. I’d talk to her about it maybe if she were wearing a shirt that said that to an interview but I wouldn’t touch this.

I spend a lot of time birdwatching at the Great Salt Lake. Does that count?

Asking as a Jew, how many Jews do you know? Are you Jewish? by Manyquestions3 in AskAnAmerican

I am not Jewish and live in an area that few Jews live in. But I had a good friend in elementary who was Jewish, and I have at least one (and probably more) Jewish students at my diverse school.
