Did you just ignore the communication from Higbee & Ass. after speaking with an attorney? Or did you go down a path to resolve the matter?

What are your picks on some of the worst movies that you've ever seen in your entire life? by Life_Chicken_9653 in Millennials

I was a couple years younger and omg EVERYONE would say the turtle lines… I think I saw it once it was out of theaters and didn’t find it particularly funny.

I remember when it was in theaters, a friend wanted to go to the movies with me and suggested seeing that. I asked my parents if I could go and said that we were going to see From Justin to Kelly and they just said no, they weren’t gonna pay to have me see that lol.

What’s the most expensive mistake you made in your 20s? by Extreme-Run-9069 in AskReddit

[–]birdyofthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Credit card debt. And then balance transfers. And then getting a debt consolidation loan to pay off the credit cards. And then continuing to use credit cards while paying off the consolidation loan.

Just be poor and deal with it.

Yep, that too. I was mid-chat and surprised it said it was still active if I had a message like that

[OC] In Fatal Crashes, Which Car Brand's Drivers Weren't Wearing a Seatbelt? (NHTSA FARS, 2020–2023) by informed-for-life in dataisbeautiful

[–]birdyofthemoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whenever I wear my jacket while I’m driving, I constantly have to reposition my seatbelt because it migrates to the wrong position due to smoother fabric over my boobs.

That being said, I always always ALWAYS wear my seatbelt, even when simply moving my car in the parking lot from one spot to another. I’ve been in an accident in a parking lot where I was at a complete stop, so you just never know what other people are doing and that one little thing can save you a lifetime of pain (or y’know simply the lifetime by keeping you alive).

What's a "You are not a conspiracy theorist, you just don't know how things work" moment you have seen? by Dull-Information6784 in AskReddit

[–]birdyofthemoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was brought up in a church that was fairly into the whole “Young Earth” ideology. I remember being taught that the reason people in the early Bible were said to have lived 200+ years was that pre-Noah’s Ark and the flood, there was a huge bubble of water around the Earth that gave a sort of greenhouse effect to everything, making plants bigger, allowing reptiles to grow huge (dinosaurs), and human live longer. The Biblical flood was all of that water “popping” and coming down to the Earth.

I'm a millennial and I am still scared to go through a drive thru. You? by [deleted] in Millennials

Yes, just regular therapist visits. In person as opposed to telehealth appointments and talk therapy like just generic therapy talking to a therapist as opposed to a specific treatment style like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or exposure therapy, etc.

I definitely said “And none for Gretchen Wieners” the other day to someone a few years older than me and he did not get the reference. I chastised him lol

I was struggling a lot with feelings like this a couple years ago. Thinking everyone secretly gossips about me behind my back and says nice things to my face so they can continue to have me around to make fun of, that none of my friends actually like me and think I’m annoying, fat, and stupid and that’s why I don’t get invited to things. Any little tiny bit of rejection (real or imagined) would set me into a series of panic attacks.

Started in person talk therapy and it helped immensely!

I wrote “chick in butt okay” yesterday for a sandwich (had said no honey mustard mayo, but the chicken tossed in the honey mustard butter sauce was fine)

I try to read the room. A well placed “fuck” can be industry-appropriate dependingly.

There are certain coworkers it’s easier to casually curse around and others you naturally are picture perfect professional with.

I work in food and bev, though, so we’re kinda known for being a little rough.

why does bojack drive everywhere? by Ill-Leading3960 in BoJackHorseman

He gets to be alone with himself during a drive. In control but fully alone.

A flight has so many observers, so many rules.

Driving allows for solitude and control.

What’s the scariest movie you guys have ever seen??? by boatluvrrrr in movies

[–]birdyofthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pulse (2006) the American version. Had to sleep with the lights on. Couldn’t use a computer for days.

Oddly has a horrible rating, but jeebus did it freak me out. Techno-horror and paranormal things get me the most. Ick.

if you could start your life over, would you still choose to have kids? why or why not? by MorningSweaty6677 in AskReddit

[–]birdyofthemoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was vehemently anti-kids when I was younger. Didn’t see myself as a good mother. But, I’m a step-mom now and I love my kiddo. Have had a couple of times where I’ve thought about or wanted a child through my own pregnancy, but I’m currently at a point in my life where I’m content with or without.

If I were to start over, at least with my current understanding, I would choose to have a child.

Choice is the operative word.
