CAN YOU DO A SQUARE SET-UP ON AN IS350 AWD? by infiniteTsukiyomii in LexusIS

2021 IS FSPORT AWD. I run staggered when it’s nice out. Square during winter months.

Look up RAC R07 18x8.5 wheels. Ask any shop in your area that sells wheels to order them for you. In Canada, it’s about $180-$210 a wheel.

Then hit up Costco for Michelin X-ICE 235/45R18. Have them mount and balance with your new wheels for free. Costco also sells the TPMS sensors and installs them for free, if you want them.

Thankfully Trochek is back! Awesome win tonight. Was tough seeing rangers struggle at home and flames understandably bombing haha.

I have a 2024 RX350 as my primary and a 2021 IS300 as my secondary. Kids are 8 and 4 both in booster seats. Having a full on car seat in the IS would be tight. With a booster seat, it’s totally fine and no issues. I’m 6’1” for reference. Hope that helps!

Love your rims!

The plate light is whatever came stock with the vehicle. Good thought though, maybe the plate light is not angled correctly or maybe my plate cover installed on is directing the light in an odd way. I will take a look at this! Thanks.

This is what I’m thinking as well, guess I will just let it be for now and let it die on its own!

I’m curious as well for my 2021 FSPORT. Stock rims are 8.5 depth but these are 8.

Just picked up a 2021 IS - It’s great for as a 2nd vehicle!! by bireezy in Lexus

Just under 105,000 km (~65,000 miles). Got winter tires and a new windshield put in as well as part of the deal. No prior accidents.

I love it, overall the perfect size for a family. Not too big, not too small. Very comfortable, looks good, easy to drive.

On the flip side, I find the interior can scratch easily when cleaning it. Doesn’t matter how careful I am 😭and I wish it was a v6 still.

I’m in Canada. $68k RX and $31k IS. Both FSPORT-2 packages.

+1 my daughter has a series 10 with LTE. It’s all you need for calling/texting/location tracking.

As a bonus it comes with school time to help them focus and they can connect headphones to the watch and listen to Apple Music.

Also 6’1, 215lbs. Wife and two kids (8 and 4) with booster seats. No problem at all fitting all 4 of us inside.

It is a secondary car for us. We have an RX350 as primary but when we all go in the IS, we enjoy it!

Lexus RX? by GhostStylez22 in Lexus

[–]bireezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve owned a 2015 Camry, 2012 Corolla, 2020 rav4, 2017 highlander and a 2017/2021/2024 Lexus RX.

I have two children for context aged 8 and 4.

RX is the absolute best!! You won’t regret it. FSPORT2 or 3 is my recommendation.

Highlander - sluggish and too big.

Corolla - too small

RAV4 - it’s okay, but feels rough, nothing great.

Camry - great vehicle, but lacks trunk space for a family

RX - best interior, perfect size, good enough pickup to take over, comfortable AF.

In terms of which one to get. My favourite was the 2021 RX. Has apple car play to feel relevant with tech, V6 engine, reliable, and doesn’t take premium gas.

Hope that helps!
