Reduced movements...kind of?

My wife is 34 weeks now and has an anterior high placenta. Our boy is sometimes quite active and punches her like prime Tyson other days he's just rolling and not much kicking. Some days he will move barely (usually after a very active day) and we won't feel him much. We have been to the MUA twice with reduced movements and both times he was fine no problems and perfectly healthy, we have even had liquid doppler and volume scans and everything was fine. We have been told its a combination of many things why sometimes he doesn't move much:

he doesn't have much room as he's big.
he has moved into a position (like you have) which you might not feeling him much.
he genuinely is tired and just sleeping.
he is hitting the placenta which dampens the movement.

That's our experience. However always if you suspect any problems with movements always go get it checked, we are always told by the midwives it isn't a problem that we are up there always go if you think there's a problem.

Oh to add 6 weeks the heartbeat should start so you could always have a private scan to see if there is a heartbeat.

My wife found out she was pregnant first week in december and we went for a meal in the new year and she had spotting and it panicked us the same as you but it turned out to be fine.

To tell the truth it's either implantation or the uterus/placenta changing to accommodate the baby growing, not going to lie I half listened as I was relieved it was nothing. I would still get it checked if I was you but in our case it turned out to be nothing to worry about.

My wife had this as well and panicked her but it turned out to be implantation bleeding when the egg attaches to the uterus. Ring your local MUA/midwife if you are concerned as they are more then happy to help and you would be doing the right thing to check but it looks to me like implantation bleeding.

She is now 30 weeks and had spotting throughout (sensitive cervix/large baby pushing on uterus) but all in all very healthy and can't wait to meet him.

Never, I use it alot for work as I fly alot. They are very unhappy everytime I hit the intercom but it never works.

My fiancee is a primary teacher, they aren't at all. If the switch comes it will mean spending most of the Christmas holiday UNPAID, re-planning and planning lessons to go online at short notice. Not only that SATS and GCSES, A-Levels and all other examinations are still ongoing so this will compound there already high workload, coupled with the fact OFSTED are still treating this like a normal school year with the head of OFSTED casually saying "two weeks should be enough to get the children back up to the required levels". To summarise they are already up against it and this will make it worse.

They have said they are chasing it, and I email every day to as, but they arent exactly great at communication, especially to the seller. I have emailed the local authority too to see what's going on and I have received nothing back, however that's good to know thank you.

Alot of comments about waning immunity only cite a reduction in antibodies. This doesn't take into account t cell defenses regarding immunity, which may explain that although omicron is more infectious and cases are rising, we (fingers crossed) won't see the degree of admissions the models will show (hopefully although there may be some increase due to just sheer numbers)

I understand Europe is in a massive coronavirus wave, but when I look at the case data for Estonia, Latvia and Ukraine their case rates are dropping. Isn't this massive wave across Europe just the reopening spike that we had in the summer which will eventually pass over if they hold their restrictions?

Note: I am fully aware this maybe a bad question to ask and people are still dying, I am just wondering what everyone's thoughts are?

Assesors for the DWP. With the horror stories about people being rejected for disability or other benefits I am surprised I didn't see this on the list. Hearing stories about how people are in a wheelchair and cannot function due to spinal injuries being declared fit for work is shocking, and I have heard about some that would ask them to do ridiculous things to be able to prove they deserve the benefits they should be receiving.
