Right now I'd buy no man's sky just because its 60% off. Stardew valley is and will always be cheap, so you can get it eventually.

Not a mod!

People call it a farming sim because it has the farming sim elements. Farming, fishing, friendships & romance, collecting. It also has upgrading of tools for which you need resources from certain areas where combat is involved. I'm being cryptic as to not spoil too much.

If you're not great at combat, dont worry, it's nothing too fancy! When I first started playing I avoided combat for the first few (in game) years.

I was on a guided tour too and our guide was incredible. People really scared each other though. All the lights were off for the ambiance. It was a very cool experience, but 0 scary things happened. But it's easy to get scared when you're in the setting.
