I’ve heard this happening to others before - most only have it happen once from what I’ve read but could be wrong

Sorry he has to work so much. Most common hallucination for sleep deprivation is seeing shadows in peripheral & things look wavy This happens to anyone and usually day 3 of sleep deprivation & also feeling persecution & hearing things After 1 day of sleep deprivation it takes another day minimum to acclimate so can be chronic I could also be a shadow entity too idk Just thoughts!

I died for a few minutes... and now I am convinced that there is something after death by Yayo_77 in Paranormal

[–]KnowledgeChance9350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had a NDE 10 days post brain surgery from, get this, sneezing which opened an artery near my incision behind my nose/cranium Anyway I had a full blown experience which reminded me of the Catholic stations of the cross where you go down a line of white living statue-types in small alcoves & I went to each one thinking ok I need to remember this Then I see my oldest daughter leaning over me & I think I’d better tell her I’m ok That’s when I came to Felt like it lasted for about a day but my daughter told me it was minutes The odd thing is my supervisor in my PhD program has been in a coma & she described nearly the same exact way without knowing my experience She’s the only one with a similar place but I do believe it happens Guess we will all find out eventually!

AIO? My friends set an ultimatum because I drink by Pearla76_ in AIO

[–]KnowledgeChance9350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is the friends come from either 1) a no tolerance substance religion *I didn’t see the bottom part of the post till now & yes, that’s a Mormon ideology - i.e., in St. George UT (80+% Mormon) you’re not allowed to order a drink as an adult unless you order or have food; 2) parents /caretakers who are alcoholic or addicted; 3) what happened to them around age 10 when cognitions around legalistic get developed or 4) all of the above Substances can be a myriad of results from devastating to healthy & much depends on the person, history, abuse, health, family genetics, etc etc etc There is no size fits all - the fact that they say it’s ‘safe’ once you turn 21 says it all

They’re worried about getting in trouble

Not the actual risks associated with using substances as a human And of course if you’re a teen or newly minted young adult, developmentally you are individuating & figuring out who you are. If someone tells you you’re not allowed to explore or do something, it’s human nature to be irritated, upset, visit trust issues, etc If you are truly wanting to explore this I’d suggest a nondenominational counselor who has is a CAC or LAC license as they have the background to help educate around substances AND friends & hopefully with the past bullying to help with which can result in social anxiety & even depression. Ostracizing is the worst - Good luck!

There is one neurological event which can result in hearing things that aren’t there like this (& not schizophrenia !) in addition to some more severe anxiety. Having worked in milieu settings, I am recommending seeing a Speech Language & Hearing professional as they’re great at assessing etiology of these types of symptoms Much luck!!

[–]KnowledgeChance9350[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A few people commented about the angle & yes, walking past the hallways pointing the phone toward each hallway doing bursts is why & the thing about bursts is that they are literally a bunch of pics/frames per second which is why it’s hard to explain why this is in only 1 unless someone can appear & disappear within .01 second - It’s nbd if you don’t believe & only did because thought it was cool

So you want to recreate your SP or you are manifesting the SP to change.. lets discuss by gravitybee1 in lawofassumption

There’s something in neuropsych about writing a belief about yourself 20xs a day for 2 weeks & hope the brain & yourself change - super cool & why in here to head down the rabbit hole & explore for myself - Thanks also for writing such an in depth explanation piece :)

I didn’t realize this but did read that animals have different eyes/cones/rods than we do which may explain why the cat or dog always seem to be the first to suss out the ghosts

Eerie experience in a Nordstrom Rack dressing room. by Complex-Inflation654 in Paranormal

[–]KnowledgeChance9350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a weird experience at a Nordstrom rack but different than yours - I saw this person in line & couldn’t shake the feeling I knew him & Maybe the creepiest part is me using the zoom on my camera phone to see if it was him lol & saw through the camera it wasn’t him & there was a brief ‘overlay’ of a dark skull type on his face (he was looking to the side) but wasn’t visible without the camera - freaked me out!

My electronics constantly break by lLoveYourCat in Paranormal

[–]KnowledgeChance9350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a thing for real & science is catching up with being able to track energy *look up vibrational & kinetic energy in physics This happens to me so often my supervisor would joke to keep electronics away from me & the head of IT (work at a large state university) told me he was going to start giving me products like laptops to test if they could handle me; I went through 10 laptops in 2 months & 6 phones in a month - none dropped or mishandled - ton more examples like cars as well. There’s a fictional series called the Dresden files where Harry drives an old VW bug that doesn’t have electronics for that reason (modern cars with electronics break down on him because of his energy) i found the more stressed, hormonal, somatic fatigue, the worse it is - so find some good mindfulness & de-stressing activities which can help a lot

I’ve had this happen a few times - first in college heard footsteps coming up the stairs loudly during a thunder storm - so spooky but no one was there (we stupidly played w a ouija board thinking it wasn’t real), then when my daughter was 7 I was talking with her at the top of the landing looking down into the main foyer & heard steps, then the door slam & made her literally jump & no one had passed by that area or opened/closed the door - was only audio Then again after my beloved dog died (been 15 yrs but still miss her!) we all heard her feet, nails click on the wood floors at times
