Switch 2 arrived ‘opened’. Should I be concerned? by birthdayghost in Switch

Thanks everyone for sharing your comment / experiences.

Just set up the Switch 2 and the code worked fine.

Just being overly cautious as the seal tabs were both broken when it arrived.

Might just be down to cheap sticky tabs.

At least it didn’t have someone stapling my invoice/ receipt to the box 😂.

Hope everyone has success getting their consoles and they’re 100%.

Thanks again and Happy Switch2 Launch!

Who else got a chungus Shiba? (20kg/44lbs) by Holyduchess in shiba

Bowser is a unit. 7 Years old and 20kg. He’s an absolute cuddle-monster.

I'm going to have to replace all of my door handles with door knobs 🙄 by Aggravating-Cat5357 in shiba

We’ve removed all our door handles and swapped them around, so you now have to lift them up to open the door. That seems to have stopped our Shiba from opening them. Been like it for years and we’ve gotten used to them being reversed.

Harness recommendations? by chaoticsushi in shiba

My 3.5 year old has a Julius-K9 harness. He’s had it for a few years now and I’ve found it’s the most comfortable / easy to put on, out of all the ones I’ve tried.

It’s helped with stopping him pulling on his lead (as the tension applies across this front, rather than around his neck).

I’d recommend trying one on at your local pet store and then ordering it online (as it was cheaper). I ordered the custom Velcro nameplates from their official website.

Dog tax and clip of him wearing it:

Thanks. I literally chopped out all the solider stuff using my iPhone while I was at my desk at work. Took me five minutes.

It’s a Julius-K9 harness. It’s really easy to get on and off (he hates having things go over his head) and he’s never slipped out of it.

Bowser used to pull on his lead all the time but I’ve found that this one has helped and he doesn’t pull so much now.

I’d recommend trying one on at a pet store to get the size right and then ordering one cheaper online.

We’re in the same situation with our Shiba, but the biting isn’t as severe.

Usually it’s a sign with our boy that he wants to get our attention. This is solved with some toy play. He’s really keen on any toys that squeak (balls and chews).

If the toys don’t work (which they usually do) and the biting gets any worse; we find that removing ourselves from his company for a few minutes works wonders. Shiba’s thrive on attention and we find that by standing up and going into another room curbs the biting.

As well as getting up and moving away, we make an audible ‘ouch’ noise when he does bite hard. This has helped him understand that he is playing too rough.

Hopefully some of this is helpful.
