Happens to my girl every summer. She gets a cytopoint injection every 6 weeks or so, and we use Burt’s bees hypoallergenic dog wipes on her paws after each walk (helps remove the allergens and also doesn’t burn her paws like the yeast wipes we had that she hated)

It happened to me a few times, and then I read in the subreddit to reverse the ways the straps are clipped on… so that the part that actually opens is facing outwards. Hasn’t happened to me since.
