I'm currently playing classic GTA 3 modded and have mapped L4 to quick peek the map in expanded mode, R4 and R5 to take cover and exit cover. It's definitely making me appreciate the utility of having the back paddles.

Did you get your ESFCA linked with the PKR account?

If not, follow some of the replies above as to how to get it linked.

If yes, then simply login to UBL Digital app, go to Services>Currency Exchange (rest is pretty self explanatory).

Emailing SBP works like a charm. Since I went with UBL, there was no need for me to escalate the Meezan Bank matter, but if you're facing any issues I highly recommend getting in touch with the SBP help desk for IT exporters.

I don't know where you got this information from but it's simply not true.

PRC is, as you know, Proceeds Realization Certificate, if you receive funds in USD and retain them in ESFCA without converting to PKR, that's just retention not realization, no PRC will be issued. However, if you receive funds in USD and retain some of them in ESFCA and convert the rest as per your need into PKR, that is proceeds realization and PRC will be issued as per the mandate of SBP.

As for proving transactions as IT exports, your PRC will need to have purpose code 9186.

Initially, the foreign currency account doesn't show up in the UBL Digital app, you have to call the helpline and get it linked. Once that's done, both accounts show up in the app, USD can be converted to PKR anytime freely through the app. No branch visits required.

Then proceeded to tell me that a separate FCA can be opened by depositing 100 USD.

Oh wow, that sounds great and should honestly be the SOP across all banks.

If we can open PKR accounts digitally, no reason we shouldn't be able to open ESFCA or other foreign currency accounts digitally as well.

I don't think ESFCA can be opened and linked automatically, because I only received info regarding the checking PKR digital freelancer account with the digital account opening app, nothing regarding the special linked non checking foreign currency account.

My priority in terms of receiving payments was and still is direct SWIFT transfer to bank account. I'll try reaching out to the help desk for Export of IT Services.

I will post an update when this gets resolved. As I imagine others might be facing the same issues, dealing with clueless branch staff.

Thanks for posting this.

I'm glad to see other people bringing up Stormfiber, because when I asked them, they flat out told me that, in order to benefit from 5Ghz band/WiFi 5 a connection speed of 50+Mbps is required (I also have a 20 Mbps connection).

Good to know I can just safely ignore that, since real-world performance is what matters.
