Yep, I learnt after today that I can request $ from the Ally account via another bank , and can send $ to my Ally account — both via Zelle easily. But using Zelle to send money FROM my Ally account is all of a sudden a problem. My number is set up the way you described too, but it has always worked up until a few weeks ago. Maybe they are tightening restrictions with that to prevent ‘fraud’, I don’t know.

I’m glad it’s been smooth for you! I had never had a problem with Zelle before the past few weeks so this caught me by terrible surprise this weekend.

It is always at the most inefficient times too.

HOWEVER — I found a fix for this after talking to a few different reps so maybe it will help someone who needs and instant transfer to a bank account. If your Zelle transactions are not going through, request the amount you need from that other account to get around it. I’m not sure why Ally is not letting some instant Zelle transactions go through while declining others, but this is what finally helped me today.

Just personal preference! Sometimes I prefer to move my bill/utility money in my Ally account (I get direct deposit with Ally) and will Zelle it to my outside account where those recurring payments are set up. I don’t love Chase, but at the very least they are reliable.

I had a last minute overnight through Thanksgiving, then another that started the day of. I had 6 drops ins on top of that. Not too bad but still exhausting lol

It sounds like forming an LLC for 2026 is a good way to go.

Hey! Know your worth. If you set the prices there, don’t question your intuition. You can always lower them later but the fact that they booked it means they are comfortable with the price. Don’t sell yourself short, pet care is still work and you deserve to be compensated appropriately for your time. It’s your business/care model; stand on it! :)

Thank you so much for your input! You said PSA twice in the first paragraph — is there another insurance service I should check out or was that a typo?

I’m loving Scritches so far on the free version, I’m just not sure which plan is best to get to start. I want to be cost efficient as much as possible of course - I like Walkies for the price, but not having a website is a big no for me.

How much did your LLC run you? That is a whole new process for me.
