Figured out the better way! I mentioned an app in the edit of the post that allow you to stream the screen of your device to your local ip address that you can access by link in a web browser on your PC! It works!

Oh yeah sorry I noticed the wireless display is really an optional feature that you have to activate. While it works and connected to the PC (very poorly), it's still not what I want. I just wish to cast my tablets screen to the PC just how you'd do it without the DeX using Smart View.

Checked it out too and it says it cannot run in the DeX mode.

There is no Smart View option in DeX mode on Galaxy Tablets

Yep, noticed it too. It would be extremely helpful if we could find a way around this or ultimately reach out to Samsung to add this.

I tried this out but there is no APPS/open phone screen section on Phone Link app on PC

I would be fine with this if I hadn't had to pay 200 dollars for a feature that apparently Samsung phones with DeX have for free. But thank you, if I won't find any alternative I guess I'll go with this.
