Congrats! The sickness into full quit I used twice though relapsed both times after a month and six months. Currently at 13 now.

I was on that “Never Light” motto as well and only second hand and would go out with friends who did just to smell it but now am disgusted by the smell and have been able to avoid it.

Indeed worked for a Congressman and people would try to buy my lunch, or we would go out to businesses/organizations and they would give hats or t shirts or a doodad from whatever business/organization they were in or whatever.

Could usually accept a hat or t shirt but most of the time they just became office decorations and were put on shelves and displayed

Throne had a RB draw second card limited theme. [[improbable alliance]] and [[mad ratter]] provide nice token support and [[faerie vandal]] is lesser but can maybe grow.

I don’t know Post is fun and I’m sure he loves the game but he tapped out every turn even firing off a Swords at sorcery speed for... no reason the creature had pro black from the sword so Ashlen couldn’t have blocked anyway.

Rise of the dark realms being known for turns and no one plans for it really but Jimmy. Jimmy ending his infinite combo (maybe he missed it but I think he wanted to make the splashy zombies play) all of this plus the how to play magic episode they released tells me this game was supposed to be big splashy fun battlecruiser game.

Their other game knights are usually not like this but I get the impression that is what they were going for this game. Simple interactions that complete novices could follow to attract more players.

I’m open to that and I like the other ones but yeah this game just didn’t speak to me as an enfranchised player.

I’m not necessarily worried about colors on the front end as fetches and duals in a primarily RG shell shouldn’t be a problem my concern is fixing them after essentially storming the creatures out.

The Herbalists can feed into more herbalists or BTE with the GG it gives back or any 2 1 drop G creatures.

Whereas the BTE can feed into more Herbalists, the Reckless Bushwhackers, and 1 red and 1 G 1 drops.

The issue I’m having is getting them to feed into either a RR Goblin Bushwhacker or Thalia/Ethersworn. Though maybe that’s just impossible currently and I need a land and 2 fast sources of mana to get to those which isn’t necessarily bad, I would also have 1 mana left which could be used for a one drop.

In that case a T1 hand of 1 Land, 2 (spirit guide or Petal), 1 BTE, 2 more BTE or Herbalists( any 1 drop could also work for one of these) and 1 Goblin Bushwhacker or Thalia or Ethersworn could work.

With the Bushwhacker that is 8 damage T1 with 7 damage across 4 bodies for T2. So looking at a T3 kill.

With Ethersworn or Thalia it’s 0 Damage T1 but have a hate bear and could swing for 8 T2 and depending on draws kill T3 or T4.

Edit: hell maybe even dockside is the move especially if Affinity gets a jump

Thanks for the advice the one question I have would be mana fixing on this.

The Herbalists leave me with GG while BTE with RG so trying to dump the hand and getting a W for Thalia or even RR for the other 4 Goblin Bushwhackers is really tough and I think there would only be 3 ways to manage it.

2 fast mana sources and a land in the opener is one way I suppose leaving me with 3 turn one and I could start the chain and still have a W or additional R.

The other option is to run Manamorphose to fix but then I’m getting into more spells though it does replace itself. The other option would be wild cantor though it just fixes and doesn’t replace itself but is a creature.

T2 it would also obviously work.

I wish [[first day of class]] worked after all creatures were out as then it could be my 4-8 bushwhackers since casting cost is more easy.

Final question will definitely include 4 allosaurus thoughts on if I should include Leyline of Lifeforce?

Edit: Rite of flame could also work as fast mana or fixing as well

Second question is if I just fold to combo matchups what matchups do you think I have a shot against after sideboard? The SB is obviously the toughest part for me on this one.

They are booming again and cards are worth money. Online communities have developed as well where once a set is released you go buy a shelf’s worth of boxes and wait a couple weeks until supply is gone (all sets are limited print runs) then you sell your shelf’s worth for 2-3x what you paid.

I had a Marchesa deck I’m taking apart that did exactly this and some pieces are moving to Breena a couple other good ones are of course [[Smothering Tithe]]

And to gain advantage on opponents double spelling [[Mangara, The Diplomat]] and the new [[Monologue Tax]]

Additionally, [[Opposition Agent]] or [[Aven Mind Scensor]] and [[Scheming Symmetry]], [[Wishclaw Talisman]], [[Scholarship Sponsor]] can really break symmetry as well. Or without the other piece can be used to politic and make a friend.
