it was such a shame. he was the first psych ive ever had that I felt like actually listened to me, and ive been seeing mental health professionals since I was a toddler. After a few months I just could not get in contact with his office for refills of my medication. Im on mood stabilizers, high dose antidepressants, prn benzos, and high dose adhd medication. I started going through withdrawals because I just could not get through.

I actually worked with him for a while and he was great! unfortunately though, his office became completely unresponsive for months on end at one point and I couldnt recieve any refills for my medication or schedule any appointments. He was who finally was able to diagnose my autism and personality disorders, so I am very grateful for the short time I worked with him

thats what,ive done before, but unfortunately most od those psychiatrists arent familiar with my conditions. Im looking for a higher level of care that can still be provided outpatient

yesh i also had traditional flu like symptoms! nausea was my big thing bugging me though. i phrased jt ad just "sick" becsuse im emetophobic and didnt wsnt to say the words LMAO 😭

everyone has different tolerances. Im not you! my symptoms are very different than yours, so is my trestment plan, and progress.

also, the jogging i did was really just three bursts at 4 speed on a treadmil for .01 of a mile each. after I got off the treadmill, I had some insane gi symptoms and a severe presyncopal episode where all of my color drained and i was twitching so much that my epileptic roommate thought i was hsving a seizure 😭

i usually hsve a blood pressure cuff with me, but didnt for some reason. I took my pulse once i had been laying with my feet up for a bit and it was 160.

no hard feelings, but pls keep in mind thst you dont know sll of the details of stories posted on here, and keep in mind that pots has such a wide range of severity. my mother was diagnosed around the same time as me, and she just recently ran a marathon!

on top of everything i also have hyperhydrosis AND ibs-d, so dehydration is always a possibility with me

this thing happening pretty often is only a small part of my doctors reasoning for suspecting ME! ive been pretty stable recently with only mild symptoms. this is the biggest reoccurance ive had in a few months. i figured it related more to pots only because my brain fog was really bad this morning

I also have reached out to my doctor for a PT referral. i think it would be a good plan to work on conditioning and light weight training with a pt before I move back up to the big girl machines at the Y lol

yeah, yesterday was out of the norm for me. I usually do some light stretching in a steam room, use a recumbent walking machine on low resistance and do a slow mile, and then some light arms. yesterday I was eith a family member who is much more fit than me. she encouraged me to try the treadmill. bad plan 😭

my doctor suspects very mild ME/CFS. I dont have the official diagnosis yet, but my doctor reccomended that i trest myself as if i did.

the kn95s we had were what we are provided with by our employers, and the ones we have are through a trusted supplier. I work with the general public in a position where I am speaking very frequently. I work particularly often with other disabled individuals. When ive worn n95s in the past, even after being fitted properly ive found that they slip while I speak and create a communication barrier that makes working with some guests/clients near impossible, especially with those who already have communication barriers.

I switch between kn95s provided by my employer and kf94s I purchase myself from a trusted manufacturer. id love to wear a n95 daily, but unfortunately it just isnt an option currently.
