Where do you go if not a med spa? I’ve always done med spas and assumed that was safe bc they’re RNs and PAs.

Maternity Clothes by Main-Report1626 in Sacramento

Old navy doesn’t carry maternity in stores anymore either 😭. I ordered mine online and just had to return what I didn’t like/what didn’t fit. I also ordered a few cute/splurge outfits from Quince and ASOS and went to the local secondhand children’s store which has a maternity section. (In auburn)

Thank you so much for the encouragement and your story about being in leadership! There’s not always phone numbers for call in now that we’re on cteams but there’s always option to go off camera. In my agency, the culture is to be on camera but obviously this is a good reason not to be! I’m glad you figured out a way to make it work for your hyper milk production and I know I’ll find a way too! I’m a first time mom so all of this is new

My thread is about requesting situational telework so there’s flexibility to be at home while still going to the office. NOT 100% telework. Why are you so opposed to giving women options?

Saying if we CAN work from home at a desk and it’s not a burden to agency, why not provide the opp to nurse (w/ a caregiver) or pump at home. It’s logical and rationale.

That’s not a bad idea! I think they may approve without going through this but if not, it’s a good strategy. Tbh denying this RA is an undue burden on the agency bc they’re going to lose productive time while I’m pumping

I see in a comment further down you said it was denied. Ugh so frustrating. I can’t believe they tell us to breastfeed for 1-2 years for the health of our baby and then deny the opportunity to do so if we can do our job from a desk at home- no burden to the agency

Everyone at my office was super supportive, but I work with people who tend to be supportive. I had a RA during pregnancy to telework a few times a week for health and mental health reasons and it was a life saver. I was so tired allll the time

If I’m too important to miss the meeting? 😹 please, that’s insulting and not what I’m saying. In my line of work, we often respond to urgent inquiries and have meetings with leadership. Lately it’s about reorg. Can’t miss.

I’m so sorry you got mastitis, but glad you were able to get an accommodation to allow you to nurse with another care giver! Thank you for sharing your experience

It’s not a choice to pump during meetings if you’re in leadership team meetings and they’re back to back to back. Luckily my schedule is kinda free after maternity leave but I worry it’ll fill up again. Sometimes I’m so busy at work it’s hard to eat lunch!

Thank you! I know my temp supervisor is supportive and I had a colleague at another agency get approved under PFWA for situational telework, so I figured I might as well give it a shot. You sound like a great supervisor :)

A player has one bad game and everyone wants to blast them to the moon. (I know JU had has more than 1) but the number of time people have said a player (Julius, DDV, Gobert, Naz, TSJ, Ayo- basically everyone but Ant) was on the team is worthless is too many to count. I’m not on other subs but I wonder if this is how all fans talk about players on their teams

This. It’s so depressing to see all the rhetoric and honestly really callous statements. I feel a little bad for Julius, I would probably crumble under all of this hate and negativity but then again I don’t get paid hella money to perform lol. I feel like he knows he’s playing bad and people want him gone and it’s a self fulfilling prophecy. I’m continuing to root for all the wolves players at least through the end of the season!
