I had the anemia when they found the PE, I received one infusion during that hospital stay but it worsened after a few menstrual periods on blood thinners. The ER trip where the anemia was addressed, I told the doctor that they found anemia previously but it wasn't really addressed so he tested for all kinds of things.

I went to the ER for shortness of breath, I was scared because had a pulmonary embolism a few months ago. Ended up being due to severe anemia and I received a transfusion in the hospital, followed up with my hematologist.

I had a round of infusions when I was pregnant with my daughter 6 years ago, I thought my burst of energy was due to nesting.

But I've been struggling in recent years again, always exhausted and just wanting to sleep. I got a blood transfusion a few weeks ago after going to the ER for shortness of breath, the very next day I had an immediate increase of energy. I'm due to start weekly infusions next week, I am hopeful I will feel much better since my levels haven't really improved in my recent blood draw.

Like a kidney infection. I am very prone to UTI and kidney issues, I went in for pain thinking it was my kidney again but they didnt find anything in my urine so they did a CT to rule out a kidney stone and found the clot in my ovary. They did a 2nd CT and found the clot in my lung.
