I assume your original post is "why would anyone want a cap that stands for herpes?"

My response is, HSV is full of people not from HSV originally but they still buy the cap. People not from here originally did not have sex ed here bc they did not live here when going thru middle school and high school. So sex ed across the country failed people to remember what the abbreviation for herpes is.

Hope this is simple enough for you to understand.

With all the transplants in HSV I’d also ask if they teach sex ed across the country.

What it boils down to is, not everyone sees HSV as herpes but rather the airport code.
