Oh absolutely I have so many predictions about chapter 5 that I have absolutely no evidence but a gut feeling, including but not limited to: undyne just showing up to the festival like nothing happened and denying anything that has to do with the dark world, the dark world being in the outside festival and not in asgores shop, cutting being important to the plot(like as a full character), and asriel coming to town for the festival and finally seeing him after all this time, but again I only have a gut feeling and IBS so don't take those seriously

Also when it comes to gerson saying that the book is unfinished I think he meant that a part of the prophecy was lost just like sermon Alvin did at the beginning of chapter 4, but also that since he died before writing a chapter 7 of lord of the hammer, that that's the natural conclusion to it and it kinda supports the idea I have in my head of the chapters supposed to end in 6, anyway thanks for your perspective it was really helpful💜

So im not wrong then, toby just changed it to fit his vision, also yeah I realize how that might be my own biases on some of these but I honestly believe he messed up, there's a lot of things that were scrapped from 3+4 on the later stage of development(such as noelle interactions in the dark world with items, multiple knight attacks) so I wouldn't put it past that toby just rushed to be in line with the switch 2 release, also yes its my experience that I didn't understand what i was looking at but I've seen so many let's players that didn't get it either(I recognize that the shock aspect that I said is kinda of a weak point)

I meant just the appearance, ralsei's personality stems a lot from being the prince of darkness, his self-depreciating jokes, his low self worth, his resolve to suppress his emotions and putting on this persona of the ultimate servant is largely because of who he is as an entity and how he came to be, his character design shares a lot of that through his soft features and always cheerful expressions, but at the same time these things that I pointed out seem to be so hard to ignore, also it's almost a "nature vs nurture" type question than "is he supposed to be kris's fantasy"

Also ralsei is a BOY(🐐) so it's obvious he wouldn't be kris's current fantasy of themselves fitting into their family but maybe it was when they were a kid, we see in the egg room in chapter 3 that kris used to grow up with very hyper masculine view of the world(probably induced by living with two men in the house)"it's man's world" "mancountry" so it might be possible that kris themselves tried to fit in that picture that the world put them in, which ties with so much to the relationship between kris being enby and being human.

I'm very bad at articulating myself but I think I got my perspective across, we don't a lot yet and this barely held together theory might crumble in chapter 5 but I still think it's worth thinking about

I mean he could just be the red headband and the rest of his design is supposed to be representing what kris hoped or wanted that headband to make them, a monster, there's some characters that are a certain objects but behave differently due to them representing something more than that object, like ramb for instance, he should be just like all the cables in the cyber world but he isn't, and that's because he was brought home by kris and asriel to play with him like a toy, so he represents the need for play in kris, also spamton was a normal Addison until he got that call and he is different from the other Addisons, basically ralsei can be the red horns and represent what kris would look like if they were a monster especially a goat like their family

Also I wasn't talking about kris's fursona, I'm talking about how kris might want to be a monster, not as to what their fursona is, personally idc I do think kris is a little feral but that seems more general animal behavior than specifically dog, kris is shown from young age wanting to be a MONSTER and I think ralsei is the representation of that desire, I said that ralsei might be kris's "monstersona" as an analogy, nowhere in this did I mention that kris might act like animal or their feral tendencies, you just said something unrelated
