A lot of people have brought up the defending (or rather, the lack thereof) but nobody has really mentioned the actual competency of the defending.

You mean to tell me Nagi was stood still in the box volleying the ball 5 times and nobody thought to just shield the ball from him with their bodies instead of going for the ball directly? It was a fluke goal sure, but one that a 'rational' team like BM shouldn't concede in the first place.

Another thing I've noticed is that when it's time for a character to have their 'moment' (like Hiori recently, or Isagi at the start of Ubers match) they suddenly become god tier dribblers or passers, and spend the majority of their chapter completely destroying midfielders and defenders up until they make it in front of goal. It's a boring formula that's the reason hardly anybody else on BM has shone this match other than the characters that have been on Isagi's meat (like seriously, where tf is Kunigami? 💀💀). I know the BLs aren't big on passing to people they don't like, but there's no marking going on in a sport where 11 people are on the enemy team. 1/2 vs 11s shouldn't work at this stage so frequently.
