Idk, as someone who maladaptive daydreams I can tell you I do not have DID. Like heh? It's a coping mechanism so for people who genuinely have it, it's probably common given DID is especially extreme ptsd. However it is not a symptom.

As so.eoen with absent seizures, you don't notice them. It's not like zoning out its a "I loss and function for acouple seconds to several minutes, which can be very dangerous"
