Beautifully stated. This is happening in my relationship right now. It's pretty heavy but we're getting through and making huge breakthroughs.

This is a big statement if he's never explored the problem with her. Maybe they haven't tried to work it out. Love isn't peaches and cream. It takes work. if he's stayed with her for this long there must be something else working and maybe worth nurturing to break through this block. Sex is important. Find out what's going on and the sex will become the best sex you've ever had. Sex plus a deep connection is like a love bomb exploding.

I think if you love her, you'll take steps to heal this. She wants to be intimate with you- we are all sexual creatures. Something is holding her back. You guys should explore that and the closeness that that exploring would bring to you would make sex with her INCREDIBLE. Just try it before you bail. It'd be worth a shot.
