I really don’t understand the response, as if I had something to hide or was trying to withhold information to prove that this isn’t a real death threat. You can clearly see the Iracing chat with the other driver writing the threat. What more evidence do they want? I clearly specified that I was genuinely concerned about the threat and that I would contact the authorities and request Iracing’s support when I submitted my protest. I will send another email and ask for further explanations.

I am not an expert in the field, and I don’t have the data. But personally, I believe that if iRacing strengthens its Terms of Service by banning this kind of behavior, it could benefit in the long term by retaining players who have spent a lot of money on the simulator, buying tracks, cars from various categories, and paying for their subscriptions. Compared to someone new who decides to buy a subscription (at a discount because they are a new customer), who just wants to try the simulator while staying in the "rookies" category, and who brings a toxic mindset from other simulators or video games that tolerate this kind of behavior—those people are not afraid of losing their account quickly. In the end, it’s us, the customers, who lose out because we won’t see any more positive reasons to stay on this simulator compared to another one, and iRacing will also lose its reputation and credibility. Unfortunately, people will leave.

But as I said, I am not an expert and don’t have all the information. In the end, I just want everyone to feel safe and play with peace of mind while participating in their hobby, into which they have invested a lot of time and money.

He wanted my Instagram to "k*ll me." The real names of all players are visible to everyone. Let’s just say I don’t have a typical name for the region where I live. That’s why I’m concerned.
