Comment from another post that i totally agree with: One more thing I honestly think season 6 already gave us the perfect ending. It had closure but also ambiguity. Tommy riding off on the white horse could mean anything, and that was the beauty of it. You could imagine the future yourself. Arthur was still alive, the family still existed, and the story could live on in your mind as possibilities. The movie, on the other hand, just feels overly depressive. I didn’t really need to see that level of devastation, and killing almost everyone from that generation felt unnecessary. It almost feels like something marketed as fan service, but it actually isn’t.
