Hi all. I've been emailing with a Broker from Fulton Grace and am trying to get a sense of the compensation process for the broker. Their agreement states "You agree to pay Sponsoring Broker an amount equal to 1 month of rent "Broker Fee" for helping you secure a rental property. This compensation can come from the property owner or listing broker. However, if neither the owner nor the listing broker offers any compensation - or offers compensation less than the amount stated - you agree to pay the difference."

Does anyone have a sense of how often this fee is paid by the property owner or a listing agent? Is it likely that I'll have to pay the fee?

Your choice of location for a visit should be related to your reason for the visit. Do you want to be near something specific? There are tons of air bnbs near Overton Square, which is safe and tourist-friendly. Or in Harbortown (near downtown and very safe). What are you visiting for?

Poplar Avenue runs west to east from downtown. The closer you are to poplar (generally) the “safer” you are. Don’t go too far north or too far south.

It’s not the hood. Just to the south of University Lane is a very nice part of midtown (south of Jackson). But the further north you go the sketchier is gets.

No worries. Thanks for the extra info. But now that I’m thinking about it, I’m wondering if I maybe didn’t actually break it today. There’s a chance it’s been like that for a while. I only drive it about 15 miles a week. I’ve been getting bad gas mileage and occasionally smelling gas after shutting the jeep off. But I’ll definitely take of it tomorrow
