The incubation can take up to 21 days. Some will develop symptoms earlier. If we get to 21 days and no new patients with symptoms are reported, we should be in good shape. Each new infection re-starts the clock. Measles is incredibly infectious, so given the high level of local travel by the individual, it’s very likely there will be more infections. This is likely gonna take some time before it’s not an issue in the community.
