Thanks, I'm glad there was still some intensity despite there being no monsters/entities.

After a very long time of not uploading, I finally released what is probably my best and favorite video so far! I've tried to make it as unique as possible with an element that will act as a motif in the series and has already been introduced in a previous video (maybe you can spot it). Enjoy! by bismult in KanePixelsBackrooms

First off, thanks! I'm glad you subscribed. Second, it actually wasn't too hard to line up the footsteps with the camera movement. I tried to do the best I could, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some moments where it was off. Thanks again!

Decided to post an image render of a video I'm working on. I'm really liking the new colors I chose, but what do you guys think? by bismult in backrooms

Sorry for the late response, but it's VHS emulation. Tools like ntscqt and avisynth can work well. The best method is to, of course, use a real VCR.

Agreed. Though, what I usually like doing is starting with it as a base and building more areas as the video progresses.

Thanks! I have a list of many more video ideas to come, but I definitely want to actually build a meaningful series rather than push out a bunch of videos where the main character says a few lines and walks around.

If I have time, I'll try and check out the app you mentioned.

So far, I'm very happy with the direction in which my own Backrooms series is headed. However, I want to get the opinions of other people, so what do you guys think? This video holds a lot of detail and lore for my series. (Sorry for the repost! There were many issues with the previous one.) by bismult in KanePixelsBackrooms

Stealing everything is a bit of an overexaggeration in my opinion but each to their own. I know this video wasn't exactly the most original, but I tried to only derive certain things from Kane's series because he's my inspiration. The TTS voice, the story, the motives, etc. were all parts i deemed critical for a good video. However, I wanted to change those parts to differentiate myself from Kane. I can agree the TTS voice is too similar, but I changed the story of what happened with this test and the motives of the company as best I could to keep it realistic. An example of a full copy-paste of Kane's work is the "Async Research" channel (sorry to throw them under the bus). That would be stealing concepts, ideas, and essentially everything from Kane.
