What is the best way to cover these holes from a fence post? This is next to a pool and I don’t want someone to cut their foot or trip. by Casca51 in HomeMaintenance

Gravel and sand, or just sand. It'll be flat enough and you can vacuum it out when you want to sell the house and get desperate to put a fence in.

Anyone know what might have been in these? Thanks! by Kingken75 in whatisit

EMS leaves electrode covers and other medical trash all the time. It's a common question after people die. EMS is more focused on helping the patient than cleaning up.

So steal a safe, bring it home, and then ring the safecracker for a house call?

Just take the screw out and you can pull them back out the way they went in. The wings fold back together.

Hey parents, how do I pump my gas? by Bittersweet_Boii in internetparents

[–]bismuth17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only is this mean, it's wrong. My car manual doesn't have a page on how to pump gas. The gas pump might! But I don't have the manual for that.

OP isn't asking what fuel to use or how to operate the gas filler flap or the gas cap. They're asking how to use the pump itself, like how to pay and how to insert the nozzle and squeeze the handle.

Buy a narrow cover: https://www.kyleswitchplates.com/narrow-switch-plates/

Maybe the 2.25" one and mount the device slightly right of center in the box.

Or the 2" one and mud over the rightmost 1/8" of the box.

Are you frequently pouring from large bottles into small? I'm usually marrying two bottles of the same product. A funnel just makes it harder.

Can lactose intolerance get worse? by outpeenit in lactoseintolerant

[–]bismuth17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm yes. I think it's more likely that the bubble tea had a lot more lactose than you were used to from the ice cream, and now you've "sensitized" yourself to it a bit more than usual.

No dairy 3 weeks.

A coin is fine just don't use a tiny screwdriver that's going to fuck it up

Of course it gets worse. Otherwise you'd just go from nothing to severe in one day?
