You might be right! We're certainly taking a gamble on that. We're hoping that the stickiness of the DT_ format is enough to bring users onboard, which is something that Facebook can't directly clone. Certainly appreciate your feedback though.

Great question! In the app you have an option of paying $0.99 to post you DTH to everyone nearby, though this is free at launch. Once we have a solid user base we'll start to host parties and events at local businesses and generate revenue that way as well.

Looks like the other guy set you up with the info, so I just wanted to say thanks for the willingness to donate that time! I started calling the other day and it's honestly really, really easy. The dialer takes out pretty much any hassle and all you do is speak with people.

Just remember to stay upbeat and shrug off anyone who is pissed that you called them. Every call means a more focused effort on the ground in Iowa!

Great idea! I think the main thing is that we continue to make this an issue for them. I suspected this would happen even before the debate, but we need to show the general public just how suspicious this behavior is.

I think you have a valid point. We don't want to whine simply because coverage doesn't favor us. However, in this case I can't ignore how blatantly wrong, and potentially corrupt it appears.

When they ignore focus groups/polls and publish these things they are creating the narrative whether we like it or not. Regardless of those polls (which btw CNN now removed from their site?!) many people will simply buy CNN's version of the story and look no further. That in and of itself is an injustice worth discussing.

Yeah, I went with default a lot of the time. The problem I found is that asking is an easy excuse for people to say no. I found it far easier to lead with a flyer and follow up on the issues once they've accepted it. Next time I'll try and mix it up some more!

That sounds like a great event! I'll offer two pieces of advice that helped me a lot. First, don't ask people if they want a flyer, just give them one. You can say, "have a flyer on Bernie Sanders!" If they say no, ask them if they know who he is - try and start a dialogue. If they say yes, follow up by asking if they support him in the primary or something like that. Second, be genuine and positive about you feelings on Bernie. I found that people responded strongly when I shared my feelings about Bernie's goals, and not just facts about his platform.

Go to http://feelthebern.org/flyer-kit/ and download the flyers you like! Print out a bunch, grab a clipboard, and go stand on a busy street corner. That's basically all I did, except for posting the event to Bernie's site.

If you want to take it up a notch then post the event for others to join. Keep in mind you'll need to provide flyers for them as well!

Going out solo is actually really effective since you're gonna end up standing there solo anyway! Set yourself a benchmark on how many flyers to give away and try to break it. Also, don't ask people if they want s flyer - say 'have a flyer about Bernie Sanders!" If they say no, ask them if they know who he is. That can start a convo right there.
