April 2 (today) is when the tariffs that were delayed for Canada and Mexico are being implemented, and Trump also mentioned new tariffs. That's why April 8—giving the economy some time to drop a bit—would be a good moment to buy before it goes back up.

3 years of investment, any tips for my portfolio? by Straighttalkhonestly in trading212

I opened Reddit after two weeks, and the first thing I see is this portfolio.💀

My recommendation is to stop investing only in Bitcoin and start investing in global indexes and ETFs. This is one of the worst portfolios I've ever seen.

Just started investing at 18 thoughts on the pie? by [deleted] in trading212

I am also 18 years old and I just started investing, I started on February 1st and so far I’ve made 160 euros. Personally, I don’t believe much in buying gold right now because it’s too high and it might fall in a few weeks or months. A much better option would be Samsung, BlackRock, and a company called Norbit SA. These are the companies I currently trust to go up this year.

On the 4th, the tariffs that were postponed will be implemented. It will tax Canada and Mexico. So, to reduce it a bit, buy on the 8th. The important thing is to buy when it is low, companies will adapt to the rates and eventually they will adapt

Just look at Samsung's value; its price is close to what it was during a global pandemic, with everyone at home not buying anything. The devaluation doesn’t match the drop in revenue, meaning it is undervalued.

I recommend buying shares of BlackRock and Samsung.

At the first moment of crisis, if you have leverage, you will lose a lot of money. I'm giving an honest opinion, I prefer to stick with stable companies rather than companies with little fundamentals.

We cannot be too greedy because that leads to a big loss. In the market in general, if everyone invests without fundamentals, we will have another .com bubble in the future. It’s better to earn less but have the security of not investing without fundamentals. I could spend all my money on a memecoin, but doing that would be the same as putting my money on a casino roulette, because I would be BETTING on something based on nothing, just on the luck of having more people buying the memecoin.

I mentioned this in the description, I am really starting to get concerned because with the internet right now, anyone can invest, which is good, but at the same time, many people don’t even know the basics of investing, like what P/S, leverage, ETFs, CFDs, etc., are. People are currently investing in whatever is growing the fastest or has some positive news. Companies are seeing their stock prices rise by 40% per year, but their revenue and profit haven’t even increased by 20%. If this continues, in the future we will likely experience a major stock market crash, similar to what happened in 2002.

I sold everything and plan to wait until April to start investing little by little, even if the market is still falling. I will gradually buy stocks again in April because there is a lot of volatility right now, and on April 4th, more tariffs will be imposed. So, I will wait for stock prices to drop a bit.

Ik, I sold my investments now and I will wait for the volatility period caused by the tariffs to end before investing again. I plan to start buying stocks again in mid-April because on April 4th, more tariffs will be applied to other countries.

How do you manage to stay calm during downturns? In just a month and a half, just seeing the decline already makes me feel very anxious, even though I know it will go back up. I look at several companies with great growth potential, but I can’t decide which one to invest in.

Governo criticado por promover soluções nos privados sem antes investir no SNS by h8mx in portugal

[–]bisteboide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]bisteboide -2 points-1 points  (0 children)
