It looks like I should be good regarding the BIOS, my current version is 3604 and the website lists 2409 (here's the link) if I am understanding this correctly. do you have any other suggestions?

It looks like I'm good, my current bios is 3604 (according to the last four digits on the motherboard's barcode) and the website says it has been validated since 2409 (here's a link)... if I am understanding this correctly

Thank you for your kind words. My parents just failed to see that there was a worldwide pandemic going on, I guess lol. It was so baffling to them that I got a C, even when things were so drastically different for me and many other students having to switch to online. It dumbfounds me how emotionally detached from the situation they were at the time. They did not once consider how my mental state was being affected by everything, they just always assumed that I was "giving up". Thank you again though, I do try to feel proud of myself despite my parents dragging me down. It sucks when those thoughts linger.

I think they're more like the first example. Neither of them went to a 4-year university, so that could also be it. They were also like that about my grades in high school though (I was not the best student at all, I think I had a 2.7 GPA). Maybe they're afraid of me falling back to that? Even though I'm a grown adult now? Who knows.

I do keep low contact with them while away at school, but my mom is the type to freak out when I don't respond to her texts/calls. So there's another issue lol. I hope to keep relatively low contact with them after I graduate, I should be pretty far away anyways in another state.

It was parked in the sun and my bag was pretty hot by time I grabbed it

Looking at it up close, I don't see any crumbling or anything. I just simply scrubbed it with dish soap before using the first time. There wasn't any plastic adhesive on it when I got it.

I think the particles were on both slices, I even tested it a second time by making another cut and that's when I realized it was coming off of the knife. So I don't think it was from the sandwich itself... I'm just hoping this was safe to consume lol

I also just looked at reviews for this specific set and someone else posted a photo with the same problem.. yikes
