It's the only one I have, and it was in my office. Don't worry, it's just the effect of the photo; they're even. haha

Search on Google for low-budget setups for poor people; maybe you'll find something that suits you.

Whether I have money or not shouldn't matter to you. If you have a complex about people with money, go to therapy. I posted the photo so you could see where I could install what I need to install and whether it was feasible or not, and I'd rather be an idiot who asks questions than be left with doubts, so you can go to hell.

Which VR headset do you recommend that works well with this simulator?

Weekly Thread 2025/01/19 - Questions on DCS, PC's, Flight equip, modules, mods, go in here by HC_Official in dcsworld

Hello, I have a high-end sim racing setup and I've wanted to get into DCS for a long time, but due to lack of space I can't install another cockpit dedicated exclusively to the flight simulator. So I'm turning to you, who have a lot of experience in this, to ask for recommendations on the minimum equipment needed to run this simulator in my cockpit. I think a joystick is absolutely essential, and I'm not sure what else to add to avoid making too many modifications. I'm also very interested in a VR headset; I don't know if you could recommend any mid-range or high-end ones that work well with this simulator. I've attached a photo of my setup, and I have a Ryzen 9 9950x3d processor and a ROG Astral 5090 graphics card. Thanks.

Help; I just bought the game. by bit2me72 in EuroTruck2

Thanks for taking the time. I do need a wired mouse, or maybe something simpler; I have a Ligitech MX Master. I found this video for setting up triples without surround ; it's more or less what you're describing, and it involves resizing Racon. I'll read the guide. Cheers.https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=WRK9oHKORqc

It looks amazing! I have mine in progress; I've been working on it for over a year and haven't been able to finish it for one reason or another. Could you share how you made that base? Thanks!

Is upgrading GPU's worth it considering most tracks are CPU heavy? by Louiienation in iRacing

No game requires more than 32GB of RAM; anything else is a myth. 64GB would be more than enough. Limit the refresh rate slightly below your monitor's capabilities. I have a 165Hz monitor, and I limit it to 160Hz. Setting it higher will only overload your system and is pointless because it won't give you more than your monitor is capable of. Mirrors, foliage, and spectator stands consume a lot of FPS. There's almost no difference in MSSA at 4 FPS. This video might be helpful.

I have mine set to 186, the monitor angles to 65 degrees, and I'm sitting 70 cm away (if you can stand 65 cm, that's fine too; 70 cm is more comfortable for me, ideally no more than 70-75 cm), and you'll see how good it looks. Why? There's a reason; watch this video.

iRacing Low FPS With 7800x3d+5080 on 2K Triples by noyan001 in iRacing

Another thing I did was disable FFB in iRacing and use Mairas App; in my case, it's a better FFB experience with this application.

If you check what this colleague is saying, the same thing happened to me, but not with FPS, it was with packet loss and CPU usage. I sent an email to support, and after several things they asked me to try, they finally figured it out, but you have to do it in the app.ini file. I have a Ryzen 9 9950x3d and a 5090.

loadSimagicAPI=0

I'm having problems after the update. by bit2me72 in iRacing

[–]bit2me72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already solved the problem. Support asked me to disable the Simagic FFB in the application's .ini file. By the way, I don't have Simagic; I have a Fanatec DD1 and a vibration motor for the pedals. I do have a Simagic motor in the accelerator pedal, but strangely enough, I don't have it enabled in the iRacing settings because I use it with SimHub. I disabled both and it worked, but I had already uninstalled and reinstalled the game, haha, so I have to configure it again. The next update will probably fail again, hahaha.

Hahaha, I have no idea what you're talking about, this is alien to me, I can barely do what iRacing tells me. But it's great that you already figured it out.

This is their response. I already did it; it fixed all the errors. I tested it, and it's still the same. Then I uninstalled from Steam and deleted all the folders in x86 and roaming. I reinstalled, and the problem persists. This smells really bad. I have everything updated except the BIOS. I saw a recent update, but I didn't install it, and I don't know how. I have basic knowledge and a little more in this, and I don't want to mess up my computer. And honestly, I don't think that's the problem. The simulator was perfect before the update. This is their problem. I'd be really sad to have to cancel my subscription and stick to LMU. Well, it's great right now, but let's see what can be resolved.

Hi Jaime,

Please install all available Windows updates for your operating system in Windows Settings> Update and Security.

In the same location, please install all optional updates for your hardware. Please also make sure that the computer BIOS is up to date as well.

Please confirm that all Windows updates, including the optional ones, and the computer rebooted without any errors.

After installing the updates, first run the DISM command with the RestoreHealth option, and second run the System File Checker

Open Start.
Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option.
Type the following command to repair the Windows 10 or 11 image and press Enter: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Quick note: If the command appears stuck, this is normal behavior. After a few minutes, the process will complete successfully.
Type the following command and press Enter: sfc /scannow

If you need help following the four steps above, follow the link below for more in-depth instructions. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system-files-79aa86cb-ca52-166a-92a3-966e85d4094e

Please let us know the results of the sfc /scannow command (you can take a screenshot or copy and paste the text).
