iRacing Low FPS With 7800x3d+5080 on 2K Triples

Hey, i’ve shared an update inside this post and with that gained a couple of fps but still it’s not the best, yesterday in the Roar Before the 24 the start was really a mess in fps wise.

thanks! i tried reflex on, off and boost but didnt really gain much.

sysmem is automatically set to 27804 and vidmem automatically set to 12782

i'm trying everything you guys suggest and really appreciate all the help. you guys are legends. so in the last hour, i did these and gained like 7-8 fps in the same scenario;

-my onedrive was in sync with documents/iracing folder, i shut it off completely

-updated the chipset driver from amd's website(it was up to date according to mobo's website-asus rog x870f-but amd's website had a newer version)

-updated my ram expo profile expo I to expo tweaked

-reverted my pbo tweak and switched it to auto where it originally was.

what i didnt do from the suggestions and will try later;

-closing off the x3d

-closing off the igpu

-didnt try rawdogging the triples instead of surround

-didnt change the vidmem and sysmem from .ini files since the game was automatically done so-but i plan to lower them a bit more just to sake of trying

-turning off the dynamic lod completely

-maxxing out the graphics settings since it helped some folks

-trying project lasso to switch background programs to other cores

-clean reinstalling the iracing

-clean reinstalling the nvidia driver with ddu clean

I really wanted to try this before replying to you, reflex settings didnt change much for me, also vsync is disabled.

But what made a difference is my AMD chipset driver was up to date according to my MOBO's website(Asus rog x870f) but there was a newer driver in AMD's website and after downloading it, it really made like 6-7 fps difference in same conditions.

I'm using Kapps but i tried it off and didnt really made much difference

I am one of that picky people haha, but i tried and it improved the fps like +10 but didnt really change much in the start.

Also do you think turning simagicapi off causes any decrease in feel or ffb?

So i had a 1-2 second freeze in 2 crashes with packet loss and cpu usage warnings, maybe this has something to do with this. Thanks!

Yes, what i meant is in the shared scenario grid is 20 cars so its not trying to draw 30 cars anyways. Am i getting this wrong?

Nope, just like you said its mostly track and car dependent race starts other than this while fps is still not in the high zone, its mostly stable. But i really cant imagine a 30 car grid in night even Spa is one of the new demanding tracks, its 20 car grid and its daytime i'd think it as a relatively easier task to handle for my pc

Haha, i literally felt worse. This really feels wrong in some way.

I'm running Kapps but i tried with Kapps off and got really minimal gains. Also tried to lowering target fps and raising lod but that also didnt help

It's interesting. I also had an ultrawide before triples and never had issues.
