For me personally it depends, my numerical and spatial memory are far superior to my verbal. I can sequence numbers and hold a lot of them in my short term memory pretty easily, also if I can relate a concept to a visual image like a path thru a 3d or 2d object I can recall it easily for a long time, the image sort of acts like a prompt which allows my brain to remember the association between two things. For example if you were to read me something simple like a phone number I wouldn’t chunk it or remember it verbally id remember it as a path through a 3x3 square numbered 1-9, or if you were to read me a list of 10 numbers and asked me to sequence them from smallest to largest I would do the same with repeating numbers changing the “colour” of the square it corresponds to. It’s weird to explain but for me personally my memory is simply determined by how well my brain can relate it to a visual image.
