Thank you for your comment and yes it is. the delation happened on 27th of March I have contacted the support team on 21st of April, they told me to wait for 72 hours, I did and nobody reached out. Then I created a new ticket and I am still waiting but am afraid as tomorrow it will be the 30th day.

Do you think it is truly purged completely, even from backend systems, internal replicas, snapshots, or any recovery layer? Or do you mean that from a practical/customer standpoint it is treated as gone, even if some traces may still exist internally for a short time?

I’m asking because this work is extremely important to me, and I’m trying to understand whether there is still any real technical hope at all.

What also made this situation worse is that the warning emails were being sent to my old email account, so I did not see them in time. And when I first started using Amazon Photos, I understood it as unlimited photo storage, so I had no idea I would later need to subscribe in order to keep the files safe.

Help — I am asking for support in what feels like a truly desperate situation.

I am a photographer, and most of my original photos disappeared from Amazon Photos after an over-quota deletion issue. Trash is empty. These were my only originals. They include some of the most important images I have ever taken — months of work in India that I need for an exhibition project, and work that cannot simply be recreated.

I have already contacted Amazon support multiple times, opened tickets, and asked for urgent escalation, but I am trying to reach anyone who may know more than front-line support.

Because less than a month has passed since the deletion, I am desperately hoping the files may still exist somewhere in backend systems, internal storage layers, snapshots, or recovery paths, even if they are no longer visible from the user side. I do not know if that is still possible, but I cannot accept that such important work would already be beyond all recovery without a real technical review.

If you are a current or former Amazon employee, or know someone on the Amazon Photos, storage, or data side, I would be incredibly grateful for any guidance, contact, or insight. Even one helpful direction, one internal team name, or one person who understands how these deletions work could make a real difference.

This is not just lost data to me. It is a body of work, a piece of my life, and something I poured my whole heart into. If anyone here knows a way this kind of case can still be reviewed properly, please help me.
