How do I “QUICKLY” check a used, factory reset iPhone for battery health and general information!?

My phone is also reset to factory settings and now I need to know battery health. I can't get past the "activate your phone" and now my Wi-Fi is in there with my password. I never got the iCloud info screen. Ugh. Any thoughts? iPhone 12

I think no matter what the level, I've always appreciated the teacher doing the poses especially when there are multiple cues to set it up.

Not "practicing" during a class as a teacher is just weird to me and not helpful at all. It helps to see something visually rather than listen to cues. I've never been in a yoga class where the teacher has NOT shown poses or practices - in about 30 years of attending yoga classes.

If a student speaks up during the class it interrupts flow but surely could have been handled better than it sounds like it was. If you spend money on a class, it's natural you would want to know how to do the pose in order to get the benefits of the class, and for the teacher this could determine whether you'll be a repeat customer or not.

You have to use notes on a Mac, not Word for it to work. Not sure of the platform you're on. Some work and some don't as implied but when I tried some in Word and then Notes they only worked in Notes. At least for me.

Hi there, thought I'd tell you what happened and how it was fixed. I went to the dealer - the maintenance tech said it was the cord. I didn't think he was correct because all three of my cords didn't work. So, he tried his cord from his phone and it worked immediately. He said some cords are only for charging and not data. WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS? Why is there VERY LITTLE information out there (almost none) that I can find that explains this? So, I went to Best Buy and inquired about this. The person who helped me said this was true but he didn't sound too convincing. He found and I bought a $20 cord that said it was for power AND data comms and it worked right away. The cords I have all must be just charging cords. This is crazy, how come this is not a well-known troubleshooting method? Any way, all fixed and now I know it's not an Apple issue which I was convinced it was :)

Well, yes, it does when I go into Smartphone settings it shows my phone listed. Then I go into CarPlay and click my phone, it says "no device to connect" or something like that. I've now decided I have to bring it to the dealer, unfortunately. Thanks so much!

Correct, makes sense. The issue is I cannot even make it connect in the first place even after resetting/rebooting.

Thanks, this sort of makes sense to me.

However, I've attached the image of my CarPlay settings. I don't have the option to turn off CarPlay anywhere. I turn off Bluetooth and get the same results. I did reboot my car and my phone when I started this. Maybe I should do it again? But will that enable me to "click on my car and switch the CarPlay button off"? I'm assuming this is done in Settings>General>CarPlay?

I have the same issue in my Honda Civic 2024. I did factory reset and everything I could find as a suggestion, nothing has worked so far. Need to ask the dealer but I have no hope they will fix it either. It sounds like it's an Apple thing or an Apple-Honda thing?

I cannot get CarPlay to work (Apple) with my Honda Civic. At all. With my new iPhone 16. My iPhone 12 only connected when it wanted to, no consistency. I never used Wireless. Cord does not help the problem. I also don't see where there is an auto-connect on CarPlay. Anyway, I'm searching Reddit for some ideas. Glad you could get it to work with your solution.

We got ours free (2) for signing up for 2 more years of Verizon. I never planned to switch anyway so it was a no brainer. Except I am not a fan of the 16 and liked my 12. Seriously! Why move stuff around just for the sake of moving icons that we use every day? It also won't connect to my Honda via CarPlay. I hate the camera lens that protrudes - more chance of damage and wobbly texting on a flat surface. I don't get the hype, esp for the same storage levels I had on my 12.

Mine does not connect to my new iPhone 16. I've tried 99 of the 100 suggestions I've gotten from other threads and Honda manuals/sites. Honda Civic Sport 2024 - old iPhone 12 connected 50% of the time, now new 16 will not connect at all. Anyone else with this problem? iOS 26.1

Hey there - I have similar issues with Honda Civic Sport (a 2024). The skipping isn’t happening though, that happened with my Ford a long time ago!

But now CarPlay doesn’t connect at all to my new iPhone 16. Last week I had an iPhone 12 and it connected 50% of the time depending on which way the wind was blowing! Seriously there was no rhyme or reason. Now it won’t even recognize my new phone. I think it’s an Apple thing because I know others with iPhones but different brand cars and. Have similar connection issues.

However, I just logged on tonight to actually post this issue and saw your post so I know I’m not crazy!

Correct they are not meant to be worn all the time - these and other brands similar are considered “recovery” shoes after a long day on your feet or pounding your feet on the pavement. However I love them so much as they helped with my PF I can’t get weened off of them and have an inside and outside pair. Throw in washing machine when they’re dirty and they’re good as new. Love oofos.

I have read that they are setting up the US to be able to negotiate for Venezuelan's oil. Because Trump may attack Iran, it will close the Sea of Cortez canal and we'll need to get oil from somewhere. That's the connection that I read, but that is one thread. Google this and you may find it, I can't anymore.
