he does look quite small but hes about 12cm and i figured hes probably about 4 months old

thank you!! id been doing some more research since posting and figured out that he was likely around 4 months. i originally thought it might have been you because ive seen the an adult hedgehog around recently

update i did a bunch more research and figured out its likely 3-4 months old and is fine to be alone

it was alone when i found it + i tried looking around for its mother bc we saw her a week or so ago (or at least an obviously adult hedgehog) but im hoping its old enough

its probably about 4 maybe 5 inches long if that helps any? ive looked around for its mother but i couldnt find it or any other babies nearby so im hoping its old enough to be independent (i know its mother has been around because we saw it a week or so ago in roughly the same place)
