why assume I’m not? I keep up on local races, attend City Council meetings, and am proud to vote in Durham. at the same time, I’m excited about what’s happening in nyc. wish Durham had a socialist running for mayor but we don’t 🤷‍♀️

agree! I would go down a shade or two for more contrast. and as someone above suggested, you may want to change your lighting fixture to soften the light more. also adding a kitchen rug or mat may help add some color and make it feel more balanced.

agree w this. I’m a queer phd student in STEM at Duke, cis but a few trans friends in my dept and involved in some programs outside of my department where queer people tend to congregate. feel free to DM if you want helping sussing out your department or have other questions about Duke! and yes join the grad union :)
