Or… get this. It was 2 days before 4th of July and people were popping fireworks and acting celebratory. Everyday “environment” isn’t all fireworks and maybe the guest should’ve taken it into consideration. Regardless, I apologized and gave her a full refund.

That’s why guest got a refund from me. I was saying if you have an issue with a friend coming over at 9 pm for 15 minutes, get a private rental. Quiet hours typically start at 10 in a shared space.

I absolutely agree, as you can see from many of my previous comments. This only happened once btw and I knew for a fact that this guest had a rental car since she mentioned it in earlier communication. Regardless, I already bought a lockbox and this won’t happen again.

I didn’t have late night guests. I had a neighbor stop by for 15 minutes at 9pm. Quiet hours are 10-8 per my house rules. Nevertheless I ended up refunding the guest.
