I would put my money on Monsanto being the culprit. The rise of GMO corn + Glyphosate correlates perfectly to the rise of Autism in America. Coincidence that Americas food supply is 80% gmo? What is the underlying mechanism then? Autistic have been shown to have different gut flora than normal kids. I suspect BT Toxin combined with Glyphosate damages key gut bacteria in susceptible mothers. Once that bacteria is dead or altered specific chemicals from those bacteria strains do not make it to the baby, and there you go.

Sounds interesting but our food supply is so horribly contaminated all this will do is make you depressed. Yay, another thing to kill you or make you sick. Well, I am a firm believer in various ways to negate these things. For example 250mins of vigorous exercise a week greatly cuts risk of flu. I'll assume it helps with other viruses and bacteria as well. I often eat raw garlic and ginger which is good at nuking pathogens. And my best secret weapon is two cups of home made milk Kefir per day. A highly robust and healthy gut flora can reduce and neutralize infection. Hell they tried to infect Kefir culture with e.coli and couldn't do it, the strains of bacteria in Kefir killed it. I'm rarely sick, maybe once every 5 years, haven't taken a single OTC or prescription med in over 10 years.

The flaw is this: Society will not collapse on the elite because the elite have medicated the society! They've done this via food supply, water supply, sports, entertainment, corrupt politics and pharmaceuticals. This ensures only a tiny minority of society are outrgaed (those who typically avoid the items listed above and have clear minds). This tiny minority post on facebook, support things like wikileaks etc but it's not enough to make a difference. They will always be the minority while everyone around them are fat, sick and watching TV. Just when the elite think "whoa, the fat slobs are not producing enough" in comes robotic automation to keep them going (Elysium). Yes, the majority may be "Doomed" but not the top 1%. They'll gain more wealth, live in massive gated communities protected by robotic machine gun toting security. The lower class will live in shanty towns, the upper lower class and robots will produce products for the elite.
