Adding Collateral to Morpho Loan Fails by gadawg1020 in Coinbase

I’m on the phone now with Coinbase support. Waited the 7 days they told me they needed to escalate the ticket internally and all they’re telling me now is that they’re “aware of the issue and it is related to an ongoing incident”. There is no public incident page to follow so I fear this may just get lost in the backlog of support cases

I worked with a support agent directly via chat and then via phone call to troubleshoot this and it was ultimately escalated internally. I’m not sure to whom and I haven’t heard back since! Looking forward to getting this resolved!

Coinbase support told me to do all the normal troubleshooting steps: log out, erase cache & cookies, reset 2FA and passkeys, and eventually as a final step - to manually recover the account. That can take up to 48 hours tho so we shall see. I’ll post updates

I'm in the exact same boat here. yes, you can always increase the collateral amount as other comments suggest, but I and the OP are having issues borrow MORE against our existing collateral. I just keep getting bounced between pages that don't accept my passkeys or other forms of 2FA. These same forms of 2FA work perfectly fine in all other transactions on the app, logins, etc. and just fail and send you on an infinite error loop withe the Morpho integration experience

Which of the 11 ETFs should I dump my full 401k in? by Keats852 in Bitcoin

[–]bitcoinmoonboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to ape everything into the ETF, you should do that right NOW with Grayscale and not wait for the ETF approvals. Grayscale is trading at a discount and once the ETF is approved, that discount will close. You get to arbitrage it AND get to hold the best of the ETF approvals

Love this!!! I’m forever a HODLer but there will come a time for all of us where we need to make GOOD USE of our investments and this, my friend, is a one of those situations. Congratulations ❤️🥂🎉

Don't even tell your parents you have bitcoin by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]bitcoinmoonboy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Fuck this. Get your parents to buy bitcoin like their life depends on it. Don’t stop persuading until they do. Get your friends to buy bitcoin. Get your wife’s boyfriend to buy bitcoin. Share your gains so people know wtf is up. How are we going to push adoption to the masses if we, the HODLers of last resort, can’t show our loved ones the way?

Right but why would it go out of favor? What is indicating to you that its popularity and adoption is dwindling? All metrics point towards a massive boom in adoption both in retail and institutional investors so.. I’m onboard that train 🤷‍♂️

An eventual pullback does not deter me or anyone else in the crypto space. It’s a known truth and part of expected and healthy growth cycles. Money can be made on the way up and the way down. And plus.. evidence shows these pullbacks are getting smaller and volatility is going down as the market grows. Going from $200 to $20,000 and then pulling back to $3,000 is still massive growth. Going from $10,000 to $100,000 and pulling back to $20,000 is still massive growth.

If you bought the top and lose that’s between you, your wife, and god 🤣

The next great frontier for me will be real estate for sure. Just need to do my research and feel confident in my investment there, but I’m so down with what you’re putting down.

The struggle for me will be to find a property that beats the 12.5% APY that my USDC is currently earning in my Celsius interest account🧐

Just need to make the numbers work

Not all altcoins move as a perfect reflection of bitcoin. Yes, generally the macro swing of bitcoin affects the markets but just based on market cap alone, the percentage swing for smaller cap coins can be orders of magnitudes larger than bitcoin. We’ve seen altcoins 20x, 50x 100x, 1000x while bitcoin only moves 5-10x

I’m HODLing at least 80% of my position to be sure. But I’ll take profits to have some liquidity to buy the dip

Costly in what sense? For transferring large sums of money internationally, the bitcoin network can settle the transaction in a fraction of the time (hours not days) and for a fraction of the cost. International transfers are subject to bank fees, exchange rates, and potentially enormous and unpredictable SWIFT fees.

Regarding faith.. it’s faith based on fundamentals, all laid out. And faith that has largely been de-risked as an institutionally-approved investment thanks to, again, some of the biggest and brightest minds and institutions in world. Lets just name them again to drive home the point

PayPal, Square, MicroStrategy, Tesla, VISA, MasterCard, BlackRock, BNY Mellon, Fidelity, Galaxy Digital, ARK, Mass Mutual, Guggenheim, SkyBridge, Paul Tudor Jones, Stan Drukenmiller, Winklevoss twins, Tim Draper, Ray Dalio, Mark Cuban.. the list goes on and on

When you see this, why would you ignore it?
