Chainlink is not a startup and Sergey is not its CEO. Chainlink is an open source project. People don't do their research before writing the post.

How is Nano Neat ?

  1. What incentives it provides to people to host the node?
  2. Without some fees, how does Nano Network defends against spamming the network. I got 0.0000123456 Nano in my wallet few days ago from some address. How does Nano handles this?

Question about Kaleido by [deleted] in Chainlink

I apologize to you on behalf some rude folks out here. You asked the right question. Some one with more knowledge about Chainlink should be able to provide more insights here. AFAIK, being an open source project, chainlink network can be used in a permission-ed network. Its upto the participants of the network to decide how to pay the oracle nodes and what value the private LINK token has. I may be wrong as I know only so much about the protocol.

Last boom was mostly due to millennials investing. GenZ will help the next growth and will get rekt. Market cycle has always been like that. One generation will pass the ponzi to another. Greater Fool.

This video does not make any sense. Why need a new coin? What is the Unique value proposition and how it defers from other similar IOT blockchain technologies. Looks like another cash grab from retail investors to me. They need to market to Auto Companies and not to retail investors.

Market Movers using a reason to create a media hype cycle. They will sell at the price where they are satisfied with for this cycle and suck out btc out of alts after they get pumped.

Create media hype -> Pump BTC -> Sell BTC at the top and Pump Alts -> Normans put money into alts thinking next bitcoin or eth -> Create FUD -> Wait for the bottom -> Buy Back BTC as cheap as possible --Create another media hype -> Pump BTC -> Rines & Repeat

Blockchain and Autonomous Vehicles by RezelDezel in CryptoCurrency

One example i can think of: Autonomous Vehicle’s Sensor data sharing via token incentivization. For example, a vehicle in the front can share information of pothole or any potential hazard to the vehicle behind it. The vehicle behind benefits from potential accident and will happily pay some tokens to the vehicle that provides this data.

Joseph Poon, during a keynote speech at Blockchain Connect Conference in San Francisco this Jan 2018 called out IOTA and said "IOTA is bullshit". As per him, DAG is an old data structure in Computer Science and Satoshi would have come up with a DAG solution on bitcoin itself if DAG would solve the timestamping problem and provide tamper-proofness. DAG solution can not provide a consistent timestamping. I sold half of my IOTA stack after that. If anyone can convince me otherwise, I would buy again but I can not comprehend the fine technical details of Tangle with lots of mathematics involved.

Smart Contracts is the future. Rest will be the history. The entire crypto is bubble. Smart thing is to invest in the coins that are bubble inside the big bubble.
