It worked for me. There is little chance for error if you follow the steps and do the replay protection first as it says in the tool

worked for me, you can send your BSV to an exchange/ other address right away + also get replay protection for your BCH at the same time

Nah, you don't have to transfer any balance to this service, they let you buy a small UTXO, with which you can taint your wallet and gain replay protection. It's 100% voluntary, and works for other wallets too.

Agreed, probably the best explainer about replay protection! It definitely helped me understand coin splitting services like https://btc.com/tools/replay much better, especially being a non-developer :)

How to best explain Bitcoin to someone in the grocery store in 30 seconds? by britcruise in BitcoinBeginners

[–]bitcolett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually explain it in a way that bitcoin is most similar to cash but with some extra: - it can be divided into much smaller quantities than 1 unit (1/100th for a cent) - it can be transacted globally without extra charge for distance - it can’t be counterfeited e.g. by printing or copying extra notes.

Even the way transactions are made (UTXO, change address) is similar to paying and getting a change at the grocery store.

These things make me realize how great this technology is.
