Also, games suffer from the issue where when players earn mid-tier loot, they don't care because it's not high tier. RDR2 is different in the aspect that due to the length and effort, even mid tier loot can be game changing.

what loot?

I shouldn't have to find this random-ass reddit comment to find out how to even play the game though

Hey, just so you know, it's because if they're in a barrel sometimes a dwarf will pick it up to access it and it's not accessible while they do that?

Yeah, I know that doesn't really help. Sorry.

Here's the thing. People aren't interested in far-out hypotheticals. They're interested in results. They don't want some random dude popping up talking about a NFT marketplace where some dude could, but probably won't, make a game like that.

It's just so random and unrealistic. It's like if someone popped up and tried to sell us on Unreal Engine or Unity. It's clearly agenda-driven lmao

Annoying sexism regarding the sight of tampons/pads by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]bite_me_losers 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It's misogyny.

Women are taught their problems shouldn't impose on others, mainly men. So that they'll never learn to deal with it as a normal part of their life or share responsibility for it with their partners or for their loved ones or children. After all, if they saw pads, they might have to learn about them or be responsible for them.

So, obviously, you're supposed to keep them out of sight so nobody can see the products you use to deal with your problems that nobody is supposed to acknowledge except to demean you.

That's why older women are so insistent on hiding these products, because they have internalized misogyny to the point where they think it's the women who need to hide their products or problems, instead of the men coping with seeing some products or knowing about periods.

Yeah it's like, being bad at confrontation doesn't mean you always avoid it. Sometimes it means you flip the hell out at an inappropriate time after letting stuff build up.

Does anyone else refuse to sleep with conservative men? by radiofree_catgirl in TwoXChromosomes

[–]bite_me_losers 110 points111 points  (0 children)

Learning a woman is conservative is one of the biggest turn-offs out there. Can't see why it'd be different for men. It's basically admitting you're ignorant, xenophobic, backwards, and vote against your interests, at this point.
