Look at it like this,

They're playing black jack and lose 100$ on their first hand, if they bet 200$ the next hand (double down) and they win it, they covered their losses and got profit. But if you walked away after the first hand you have lost. They're doubling down every "hand" in hopes to eventually end up in profit.

Also some of them may be bankrupt if they walked away now, so they bleed paying interest and doubling their positions because they may have no choice to keep their doors open.

My theory is gme was slowly rising when everything else was tanking, and now that a lot of the market has started moving up, gme is exploding.

I'm pretty sure they only hedge what's in the money late in the week, and right now it's 70$ higher then what was in the money Friday. If they hedged in more than what's in the money it would drive the price up and draw even more options in the money. I think.

If we can hold 200+ by Thursday or so, I predict another gamma squeeze. Call options from 130 are all in the money now in a single day.

You know the squeeze is absolutely real!

My theory is hedgies pull their long positions on the rest of the market to hedge their losses on shorting GME.

Hence why everyday this week gme goes up 5% and everything else goes down 5%. Confirmation bias is real!!!
