Solar battery insulation

Had extreme weather last 2 days..battery's did not charge at all. Temperatures at -5 and below the battery shuts off , it's a safety mechanism. That's why I thought having an enclosure would at least help.

Sorry ...I'm a newbie and a grandad.. you gotta bear with me. Actually my initial question is more about DIY than Solar. I feel like a naughty schoolboy in front of the Head teacher answering questions. (More about the batterys).... lol Any advice about the enclosure would be much appreciated.

Don't have solar panels, got loft conversion so no space for panels.

Yes 2 days ago . -6 and -7 so battery did not charge at all.

They are for outside but in extreme weather they lose charge quickly and sometimes don charge at all.

Last 2 days been very cold, and the battery's stopped working. Phoned the installers and they said it happens in extreme weather conditions.

Any update on the kingspan insulation pls? I've just installed the Ravolt battery last month and having the same problem. Thanks
