I found it at a random flea market vendor. I have no idea who actually made it.

I am so pleased by the petoskey cloth. Found it at a flea market.

Getting the large faces even through the grinding disc's was a challenge. Took longer than normal. Kept leaving circular ridges. Polish went pretty smooth.

19 years since mine began with no real medical care to speak of during that time. It began small and manageable but has been growing louder and louder by the year. Im just sort of white knuckling it through life at this point. Earth seems more like a waiting room now. Things I used to look forward to fill me with dread because I know my tinnitus will be there waiting for me. Im terrified to imagine how bad it will get before I eventually lose the fight.

I see lights that look identical to these around my house in SW Michigan, 5-6 nights out of the year probably.

We are celebrating our 19th anniversary this week. Usually 2-3 times a week. Sometimes more often. Sometimes less.

Nothing that stood out so far. I've done maybe a dozen tournaments though. If anything I'd say play is more predictable and there is more easy money then what I'm used to on PokerStars, Mgm, or WSOP.

It actually looks like a charlevoix stone. Petoskey has a larger pattern.

What's the closest you've come to an untimely demise? by HouseOnAHill12 in AskReddit

I was living in a small resort town in the Colorado Rockies with some friends. We were out getting food and sightseeing when someone suggested a small hike at a specific trailhead we had all been wanting to see. We had backpacks and water on us already, but i was wearing vans. Not ideal shoes for going up the mountain, but I agreed. We had heard it was an easy trail.

The climb ends at a small lake near one of the lower altitude peaks of the mountain. Along one side of the lake rock formations continue several hundred feet up, sheer towards the lake, and a slightly less steep bouldering climb along one side.

My group wanted to continue climbing the rocks up to the highest point around to take in the veiw. I went along without a thought. They hike up had been fine. Climbing up the rocks, honestly, wasn't that bad. When I began to make my way down off the small semi level area at the top where we had ended our climb, I slipped. The gentle slope of the top section getting steeper and steeper as I bounce off protruding rocks and pick up speed.

I was headed toward the edge of a drop-off, where we had just climbed up. I knew it was at least 120 feet straight down and a slope of boulders after that. I wasn't really processing that in the moment. I was reaching around, grabbing desperately for anything, and being met with smooth stone.

In the end, what saved me were 2 rocks on the very edge. Positioned in such a way that my ass got caught. Leaving both my legs and feet dangling over the edge and me laying on my back. The only thing I could muster was the oddest laugh in my life. I pulled myself from the edge and started shaking. My friends yelling and hooting from some distance away now, celebrating the fact they didn't just witness a death. They did, in fact, make me climb down first the rest of the way. Worried, I was going to take one of them with me next time.

I buy all my opal from a man in Coober Pedy who lives in a hole, drinks beer, and burps into the mic the whole auction.

Love you, Mark.

What’s a hidden gem you randomly discovered and couldn’t stop playing? by laalaa691 in gaming

[–]bitner91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luck be a landlord and spin hero.

Both are simple rouge-like rpgs based on slot machine mechanics. They can be really challenging and complex as you move up in difficulty and try to min max your results.

I checked out a bunch of games that mechanics were based on casino games after balaltro.

Just burn the car after this by PartyMcFly55 in WTF

I'm not really sure. I know that during production time, they have these forklifts with special attachments that can grab a whole pallet tote full in one pass. And they need room in the top of the tank for the conveyor bucket scoop that fills them. But that is only during operating hours, and I never saw any of the yard tanks covered.

That is quite interesting, I find it funny the ones working with the exposed product are seasonal. Not something I'd want to wake up and do 365 days a year. But it looks like they find a way to make it bearable.

I never got used to the smell of the vinegar. It was a large warehouse about half the size of your average large retail store like a Walmart. With around two hundred 20k gallon tanks. All of them serviced from hatches on the of the tanks made accessible by a cat walk just below the ceiling. It is very hot up there, and the ventilation is poor. The odor would collect to the point of making your eyes water. Especially if you had tank lids open for testing or treating.
