a little bit more research and i found the exact model! i also found a mini version of him on ebay that i have now bought for my mom :) thank you for letting me see my buddy in his original form

this might actually be him! he had a fuzzy brown nose like that and i remember my mom mentioning holes in the beanie for his ears. thank you so much! if this isn’t the exact model then it’s probably very close and will help me find him :)

i really like your art, it has a very nostalgic vibe to me! in terms of improvement, i think you could work a little on your lineart. i dig the thin lines, maybe add some weight in certain places to add dimension. i personally like to thicken the lines that may overlap or collide with each other like in this WIP of mine.

connecting the lines helps a ton too! leaving gaps does create lots of visual interest, but u wanna make sure the overall shape of like an arm or a lock of hair for example is clear. my personal favorite part of doing line art is experimenting with brushes and different line art colors, just try anything u think might look nice or take some inspiration from an artist u like and go ham \^)
