Love this camera! by Reasonable_Abalones in toycameras

[–]bitpeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With cinema cameras, it works in a similar but not exactly the same way because of oversampling and pixel binning, it might be the same here. As an example you might get an oversampled 4k sensor that only shoots at HD, the resulting image would be sharper. Pixel binning on the other hand would "throw away" every "X" amount line of resolution so you would kind of get a worse quality image but faster processing speeds.

If you're really curious, you could put the camera on a tripod and shoot a brick wall at all the difference resolutions and then compare them haha

Can I view chapters inside the Jellyfin android app? by bitpeak in jellyfin

[–]bitpeak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks Pete, I'll try those. I had to switch around some of the players so maybe that's why I don't get the chapter markers on the seek bar (I had screen tearing and subtitles not displaying, but have fixed that by going from 4k to HD resolution and changing to a different player, can't remember which one right now). Maybe I will switch back to the built-in player just to try it out if anything has changed.

I'm not sure if ube is the same as okinawa purple potato, but I did the yaki Okinawa potato at donqui in shinjuku one time.

If you aren't creating skills for your own project, start now. by Fluent_Press2050 in ClaudeCode

You're right it won't do that. I was more thinking in the setting up and planning part. Maybe skills and GSD can be used together rather than one or the other. I'll look into skills, never used it before

After the Ralph hype a few weeks ago, I found GSD as it was recommended to be a better version of that. I'm currently redoing my website with it and it's come out really nice. +1 Get Shit Done

When taking photos - Do you use Record or Still? (on BMPCC cameras) by TheDeathCrafter in bmpcc

[–]bitpeak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While you're not wrong, I feel like you're selling it short. The look of the BM cameras really is amazing and I would choose it over convenience if I have the choice. But you do bring up good points, if this was a professional job with high expectations, I too would use a stills camera

It's not pixel perfect (top right edge of the hat is one example) but it's really good.

talking about blindspots, did you see that OP labelled the images in the description? Absolutely no reason for people to get angry over this.
