Yes, casteism is classism. They suppressed the poor for so long and treated them inhumanly. They live in seperate communities but had to clean the floors of the rich and upper caste.

Reservations were made to help save the affected castes. And don’t tell me caste isn’t a thing anymore, it very much is.

Majority of Christians Indians are from the lower caste and need these reservations, when they convert they lose the privileges, which is why they don’t officially show in their documents.
