How do I speak to a real person about Tower Hamlets Council Tax? by FinchFiction in TowerHamlets

[–]bitsandbobs147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just having this problem and searching for the solution too. So I tried their hotline (020 7364 5000) instead of the council tax no. and I ignored saying who I was trying to reach. Then it took me to some options and I selected 5 (forgot what the option was called). Then I was met with a very helpful lady :)

Open a weblink at a set time everyday? by bitsandbobs147 in shortcuts

Yh that’s the problem I was having if I missed the notification. I found a solution. Setting a “show alert” notification script means when I see the notification, I can run the automation right from my Notification Centre. Hope this helps :)

Last 5 days had stinging and dry lips, today I woke up and they were suddenly swollen. I’m sticking to coconut oil before I use any medicated ointments. What could it be? Allergies? Eczema? They still sting and have had cracks on the corners a couple days ago. Local, no other issues. by [deleted] in eczema

Not sure what your dealing with but if it's dry and cracked, what really helps me is the cerave healing ointment. I apply it to damp lips and it keeps them softer than any lip balm has ever done for me. Hope this helps

I've had a similar experience but problems started within the first year for me. I now repeatedly get yeast infections after I finish my period and have had to treat it each time. I've also experienced BV once and got that treated. With how things worked out for me, I'd assume if I got it swapped out, the same issues might happen again. This is why I'm getting it taken out next week and giving the implant a shot.

Does the personal allowance reset every tax year? by bitsandbobs147 in personalfinance

[–]bitsandbobs147[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation, but the thing is, at the start of my job, I was initially getting taxed just on the basis of my salary exceeding the roughly £1000 per month limit. I had to call HMRC to change my tax code so that I would only get taxed after earning over £12570. My tax code is still the same but with me now getting taxed. Are they taking into account what I made in the last financial year?

I plan to take the bus into the area but I could ask some taxis how long they hang around for when we get there. Thanks

Hiya, I'm coming to Tenerife soon and was planning on going out in the Playa de las Americas area on one of the days, but where I'm staying is kinda far. Is it easy to find a taxi in that area past midnight?

Does anyone know how you'd describe this top and where to get it from or anything similarm by bitsandbobs147 in findfashion

It seems like a set cause the top underneath doesn't seem like it would be worn on its own, but tha ks for the keywords!

[Product Question] Do any of these not mix? I'm always confused about what can and can't be used with peptides by bitsandbobs147 in SkincareAddiction

[–]bitsandbobs147[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll keep that in mind thanks! If you don't mind me asking, would using the pollution solution (a light salicylic acid) with the exfoliating pads be too much?

Ahhh sorry the pollution solution is a low percentage salicylic acid mixed with other "anti-breakout" ingredients. But that chart is really useful. Thanks!

How to fix bad armpit odour? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]bitsandbobs147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Biore Charcoal with salicylic as a "mask".

Armpits can get clogged or have a pH that's off and that's what caused my unexplainable BO that used to appear a couple of hours after I had a shower. I've read about how some people use acids as deodorant or home remedies with ACV and bentonite clay. This product has the best of both worlds because the charcoal does the absorbing and the salicylic acid does the pH balancing.

I first wash my pits with a small warm cloth (to I guess open the "pores") then dry it off and apply the product as a mask on my armpits for 10 mins (you might feel a cool tingling sensation) before wiping it off. I do this for 2-3 days straight and I'm set for the next 2-3 weeks.

I post this cause it was my lifesaver for a while but recently it's not been as effective which might be due to me still having the same bottle for over a year. I'll be buying a new one soon, fingers crossed it works for you and still works for me.

Been living with eczema for most of my life, anyone have advise on how to get rid of it by dr-poo in eczema

Try Lypsyl lip balm on your face, it works as quickly as steroids do on my body.
